    This is a Good Used 1966-1967 Lincoln Convertible Deck Lock Female Housing.  This mounts to the body of the car, just above each rear wheel housing.  When the deck lid locks down these make a ratcheting sound to let you know they are completely seated.  Often the threads get damaged or the ratcheting mechanism fails, especially if the limit switch is improperly adjusted.  These are cleaned and checked; ready to install!
