Up for auction is this antique GE 4-blade brass fan. The body is made of heavy cast iron. The fan stands 16 inches tall. The cage has a diameter of 13 inches. The fan weighs18 pounds. It is working but you can see someone back in the day added a newer cord. It wouldn't take much to get an old NOS cloth cord and replace it.
I left it "as found". Some people like them like this, some like to take them apart and polish all the brass up and do a coplete restoration. The choice is yours. There are various parts and name tages that are brass that are hard to see because of the patina but if you take it apart and polish up the brass, it's going to pop. You'll get it as pictured.
