F Loree Paris Professional Oboe - Serial GS-10 (Circa 1984)

Up for sale, an F. Loree Paris professional oboe, circa 1984.  I was told that the owner stopped playing this instrument a couple of years ago.  While the pads and corks appear in decent condition, it is highly suggested that the horn be taken to a professional and any required maintenance or adjustment work be done by someone who is an expert in the field.
This instrument appears in generally good shape, I do note some oxidation on the silver key-work and I went over the body carefully with a flashlight to see if there were any cracks.  I do see a fine crack/split near the end of one of the joints (pic 11).  I do not have a bore scope to inspect the interior but it appears very tiny at this stage and will perhaps be a straightforward repair.
When I was inspecting the horn I managed to allow one of the joint protectors to slip off and it broke when it hit the floor.  I'll include it (bandaged with scotch tape).  The reeds do not look very good and likely warrant replacement.
Please view pics and ask any pertinent questions, this is not an instrument I have much expertise with (though I've sold a few similar oboes over the years).  I am seeing similar offerings from dealers in the 00-00 range.
Please note: the Right Hand latch on the case is not catching.  I don't see any glaring issue so perhaps an adjustment may fix it.
