Gilbert American Flyer - Steam Locomotives Photographic Directory Reference Book - For All American Flyer Steam Locomotives Manufactured from 1946-1966.
The staff at AmericanFlyerExpress.com has produced this New Reference Book for 2018.
We have over the years, since we have been producing our Gilbert American Flyer Reference
Books, receive requests for different types of Reference Books for American Flyer S-Gauge
Trains. We receive many requests to answer why or what changes and modifications that have
been made to Steam and Diesel Locomotives and Operating Accessories manufactured by
the A.C. Gilbert Co.  In a lot of cases we are able to answer those questions.
In our Original Gilbert Factory Service Reference Manual we found numerous factory memos
that were sent to all service station technicians, telling of changes to be made to Flyer
Locomotives, Steam and Diesel.  What we have done here with this reference book is to compile a Photo of
each Steam Locomotive that was manufactured by the A.C. Gilbert Company from 1946 to 1966.  This
would be for all S-Gauge Steam Locomotives.  We have never seen any reference books, that have already
been published, that had a photo for every model that had been made, Cataloged and Uncataloged.  We
also include specifications for each locomotive, such as, if Smoke & Choo-Choo was included and where
it was located.  What type of Reverse Unit was installed and if a Reverse Unit was installed.  All in all
we have included 24 different specs for the locomotives, to help identify one model from another.
We hope this New Reference Book gives New Information and New Details to the American
Flyer Collector and Operator who like to do repairs and restorations of American Flyer
    Steam Locomotives.
The specifications of this Reference Book are:  It is printed on 24# Copy Paper, Laminated Hard Covers front and back, GBC Comb Binding for easy layout of the book for reading of the pages.  There is a total of 312 pages. The Reference Book is Indexed and all locomotives are listed numerically for easy reference.
This would definitely be a great and unique addition to any operator or collector of American Flyer Trains.
This Reference Book will be shipped via
    United States Media Mail
