    I recently purchased silversmithing items at an estate sale. These items were in their original boxes or sealed in paper from the factory dealer.
    The anvil in this sale is new and never used. I am identifying it as a Grobet brand based on the part number label on the packaging. There is no stamped brand on the item.
    These anvils have been stored for a long time in their packaging. It is likely they had a light oil coating on them to protect the finish. The oil has left a stain or residue on the finish. They will benefit from a polishing or buffing wheel.
