    Description

Kit Carson "Desert Cactus" 44"x30" COA Mixed Media Collage Gallery Quality Frame
Up for auction is a mixed media collage, made in the south west USA, by Kit carson, entitled: "Desert Cactus".
Shipping is at the expense/risk of the buyer, therefore, this is being sold “AS-IS”, “WHERE-IS”, with all faults, no warranties, no return, no refund, sale is final.  Please, inspect and ask questions, before bidding.  Thank you.
Pick-up with cash is much preferred, is free, and allows the bidder to inspect before buying.  Please contact me for my only payment option (not paypal) for pick-up and delivery.  Otherwise, this will weigh about 45-50 lbs., when boxed and packed, and be very oversized, therefore, 169.99* shipping w/i the contiguous USA.
Price is pretty firm, “make an offer” is for the benefit of the bidders, allowing them to make an offer I can accept, and, thereby avoid a bidding war and buy-it-now.
International bidders, please contact me for a shipping quote before bidding. This qualifies for flat rate shipping service, and 3 day turn around, handling period, EXPEDITED shipping available at extra cost. Please contact me for my only payment option (not PayPal) for pick-up/delivery. PayPal OK for shipping. Seller reserves the right to refuse sale to those with bad past history.  Happy bidding, check my feedback and bid with confidence, bid now and you may win!!!
*A note on shipping expense.  eBay charges a final value fee of 15-20% on, not only shipping, but tax, too!?!  Additional expenses: packaging, delivering the item to the shipper, actual shipping cost (FedEx just raised their charges 5%) including insurance, and if media or international, waiting in line at USPS for 15-45 minutes.  Therefore, if the shipping looks a little high, I never see 15-20% of what I ask for.
Usually, for the last 22 years, I have made nearly all of my auctions with 14 day return guarantee.   Ebay has recently begun a "defects or return" requirement.  Which states that only so many returns (whether for defects or not) will be allowed a seller, per year.  When combined with eBay's rule allowing a buyer to return for no reason at all (buried deep inside the user agreement), this is a recipe for disaster.  Liberal returns, will no longer be considered by sellers.  I will reduce the 14 day guarantee auctions which I post.  Now buyers will not have the return guarantees, and the sellers will be sanctioned, for allowing too many returns.  Therefore, eBay has, once again, promulgated rules which do not help either the buyer or seller, and only make both buyers and sellers look for alternative sites.  Even in a no return auction, the buyer is still covered, if the item materially differs from the description.
I FOLLOW ALL EBAY POLICES AND STRIVE FOR 5-STAR SERVICE EACH AND EVERY TRANSACTION. WHEN YOU GIVE 4 STARS IT MAY SEEM LIKE A GREAT SCORE, BUT, A 4 ON ANY STAR IS 4.0 AND EBAY CONSIDERS THIS A SUB-PAR MARK SINCE THE REQUIREMENT IS 4.40. IF YOU ARE PLEASED WITH THE TRANSACTION PLEASE RESPOND WITH ALL 5 STARS. IF YOU ARE NOT PLEASED LET ME KNOW AND WE WILL WORK TO MAKE IT THAT WAY.
In the rare event of an "Item not as described" claim, returns or refunds will only be accepted based on my description and photos, not information pertaining to the eBay catalog or item specifics. Please see my listing and photographs carefully as these are the only items included. If an item is not photographed or listed it is not included, nor assumed to be.
