Stevens Magic Proudly Presents Dr. Jack's Prediction Impossible
"The performer displays a normal and a jumbo deck of cards to the audience.  Both decks are still in their cases.  A spectator is asked to assit and to place the small deck in his pocket as a "prediction".  It is further explained that there are no Jokers in the small deck.   The spectator is then given the jumbo deck with the request to remove both Jokers.  That gives him the opporutnity to see that all the cards are different.  He is next instructed to turn the deck face down and select five cards from different parts of this deck and without looking at their faces, place them on the dry erase stand so that their backs are toward the audience.  After the assisting spectator has carried out your instructions, you take the dry erase marker and draw a small dot in teh middle of thestand above the cards.  You then ask the spectator to draw a line from the dot to any one of the chosen jumbo cards.  You turn your back while he does this.  When the spectator has finished, you turn around and ask for the deck that he had right from the start of the demonstration in his pocket.  You take the deck out of its box and spread the cards between your hands to show the assisting spectator that there is one card face up only, for example it is the Queen of Hearts.  The performer then turns all the cards which were not chosen with the faces toward the audience to prove that all of them are different.  Then the chosen card is turned face up and this, too, the Queen of Hearts.  A perfect match!
This item came from the estate of a home magician.  It comes with complete instructions a dry erae marker, dry erase foldable stand, hadmarked original ted lesley-type jumbo deck of cards and a frequency deck of cards (the original effect came wtih the brainwave deck which was later substituted out by the original owner for the improved frequency deck) and a black felt storage envelope.  This is numbered #007.
