"Looking like an ordinary piece of wood is only one of the unique feathres of THE BLOCK.  Other blocks must be tilted against an object to work.  (usually at such an angle that the block is about to fall over on its own!)  THE BLOCK can be tilted against an object like the other lbocks, but you can also set it flat on a table top and still make it fall over!  With other blocks you don't know exactly when the block will fall, you have to adjust your patter to fit the actions of the block.  With THE BLOCK, you know exactly when it will fall.  Falling is the only function of other blocks.  However, THE BLOCK will move while resting securely on the table top!  This action can be used in spirit or seance effects...as if a spirit moves the block in response to questions, etc."

This effect was purchased ala carte.  You will need a strong magnet to use this effect.   The manufacturer sold this effect with and without the magnet.   Most people have magnets anyway, so savings was approximately .00 when the home magician purchased.  Comes with original box (handwritten in magic marker on top is "The Block"), instructions, velvet bag, wooden block.
