VINTAGE 1940's PETRIFIED WOOD CUFF BRACELET; SQUARE STONE; STERLING SILVER?

Description

Vintage Square Petrified Wood Cuff Bracelet. stone measures 3/4 inch by 13/16 inch.  There are no identifying marks on it.  Believed to be sterling silver because it was tarnished and I cleaned it with a jewelry polishing cloth.  It may need some further cleaning.  On the bottom left corner at a diagonal is a mark - not quite sure to call it a scratch - sort of in an hour glass shape.  Not noticeable unless you look very closely.  I don't know the history of this piece.  I didn't remember I had it.  It was given to me by my mother-in-law (now deceased) many years ago and I wrote on the box lid - 1949 petrified wood. So possibly Southwestern or Navajo but I don't know.  Cuff opening is 1 1/4 inches. Tape measure inside the bracelet from one side to the other is 5 1/2 inches.  Under the stone to the opening is 1 3/4 inches.   Thank you for looking!
