Vintage Miniature Anthropomorphic Ceramic Snails.
Set of 2. Approx 2in and 1-1/2"
This unique pair of highly detailed snails are ready for a sock hop. One in his cap, the other with her polka dot ribbon tied into a bow. A dashing couple.
No markings, so exact age and origins are unknown but I am confident these are mid century if not earlier.
These are in excellent preowned condition. No chips or cracks. There is a little spot on the bottom of one that appears to be from when it was created. There are photos. It is not a chip, more of an dent or imperfection. These little figures are lovely.
