This auction is for a vintage Haitian side table. This is an exceptional piece by the artist Jean Pierre Bernard. Made of pierced metal. Each of the 5 panels depicts a different subject, each- a full story. Initialed on the top and signed Jn P Bernard on the bottom. Haitian artwork is one of a kind with artists using unconventional, readily available
materials such as the metal used for
this folk /outsider art, rustic, full of charm table. The glass that was cut to fit the top is chipped in a corner and has much wear, and will not be shipped. The photo that depicts the table with the glass top is for demonstration purpose only.
Measures
overall about 15" square.
Overall the
condition
of the table is good with some rust and wear. Slightly bent in a few areas. A great & rare addition to your collection!
