    Description

Native American Zuni Fetish Carving - 100% Authentic Zuni Fetish - Carved from rich Green Turquoise, a stunning two sided Grandmother Corn Maiden with two children on one side.  Maiden is accented with Turquoise, Coral, Mother of Pearl and Lapis power spots and etched dragonflies.
    The Corn Maiden
is the Grandmother of the Sun and The Grandmother of the Light. In the Pueblo Indian culture, corn is the symbol of life; the Corn Maiden brought the gift of corn. The Corn Maiden represents strength, creation, and wisdom.
    Dragonfly
(Shumak'olo:wa) is the messenger who carries prayers to Spirit World and can help guide us to our positive and transcendent goals.
    Turquoise
carries great wisdom of basic truth within it. It is one of the oldest stones known and is a stone of protection. Turquoise benefits the overall mood and emotion by balancing and inducing a sense of serenity and peace. It provides solace for the spirit and well being for the body.
Sandra Quandelacy is the daughter of Ellen Quam.  She is from one of the most renowned carving families of Zuni.  Sandra is well known for her beautiful Corn Maiden carvings.
